Reading “A Thousand Splendid Suns” made me feel so lucky of
being a woman who can choose and decide about a future; a woman who has options
and the chance to wish for anything better in life.
While I was getting into the story I thought about how we complain and demand things all the time without thinking how lucky we are.

"A Thousand Splendid Suns" explains the life of two Afghanistan
women from 1960s to 2003, which also
give the reader a history lesson of Afghanistan.
This book helps me to realise one more time how hard is
being a woman depending where you have been born.
